Passion-fruit Flower

Passion-fruit Flower Macro. Either an Alien with hands or some freaky ride at the carnival. Hmmm or you decide!

Tiny Aphid

A tiny aphid tries to hide from my prying eyes but I capture him tucked away here in this Bougainvillea cutting. I used this cutting the other day (13/02/10).

Yellow Gerbera

I really like the color of this Gerbera the subtleness of the pastels against the busyness of the stamen.

Macro is a fascinating area of photography, one that I really enjoy. The static nature of flowers means you can take your time, unlike insects that have a mind of their own.
